About Me

- I'm a retired teacher who was diagnosed with ALS during the summer of 2007. However, symptoms were evident from 2004. Presently, I'm in a wheel chair 24/7 and am slowly losing my speech. Although the disease has become more and more frustrating I've been able to keep my spirits up and enjoy almost every day. I love my apartment with it's gorgeous views and close proximity to shops. It was a smart move from my house on Burnaby Mountain. Care workers, family, and friends have been terrific at helping me traverse down this winding ALS road filled with challenges.
I do exercise--honest
I rarely make phone calls any more because of my ALS accent and voice fatigue.
Have confidence-- will travel.
This is my house and don't bother me.

wow! they sure have some beautiful color! i love color. bright colors make me happy.
this made me wonder - which blog do you connect me with? or do you? i don't remember know how we even met. i think i found you just flipping through blogs, but i'm not sure. i used to do a photography blog, but i haven't posted there in a looooong time. now i do art. my current blog is www.thecreatorsleaf.com and today i posted about color :) your brother's colorful livestock made me think of it :)
