Welcome to my blog. I have had ALS for 10 years now.

Since I started this blog in June 2008 I've had amazing feedback. Family, friends, people from all over North America, Australia, Scotland, England, and places I can't recall, have commented, encouraged and corresponded. I had no idea when Cynthia taught me how to set this up, how much I would love posting and how many people would read it. I want to say THANK YOU to everyone who has helped propel this therapeutic exercise into a daily routine. All of you, both friends and visitors, are now part of my blog family. Welcome.

Hi, karyn!!!! So excited to see this new post! You look great :) and look at you out and about enjoying the beautiful blossoms! I know you've been through rough times, I've been praying for you, I am so glad to see your smiling face :D

To catch you up a little, I am a grandma now. My son and his wife have a precious little girl they are calling Frankie. She was born 5 weeks early and weighed just 4 pounds and a few ounces. She was in perfect health, so that was good. Her mom bobbie got into trouble with blood pressure and they had to get Frankie out. Everyone is good now, and Frankie is about 6 weeks old and is up to 7 pounds.

We just moved our daughter kali almost 800 miles from home into a new apartment. She will be going to a culinary school to be a professional pastry chef. School was really never her thing, so college has never interested her. This culinary school is the perfect fit for her. I am still with her getting all the boring things - like apartment insurance - out of the way. I will fly home on Friday.

That's pretty much it in a nutshell. Again - I am so happy to see you! Welcome back :)
