Welcome to my blog. I have had ALS for 10 years now.

Since I started this blog in June 2008 I've had amazing feedback. Family, friends, people from all over North America, Australia, Scotland, England, and places I can't recall, have commented, encouraged and corresponded. I had no idea when Cynthia taught me how to set this up, how much I would love posting and how many people would read it. I want to say THANK YOU to everyone who has helped propel this therapeutic exercise into a daily routine. All of you, both friends and visitors, are now part of my blog family. Welcome.

aw, what a sweet picture! i've been home by myself for almost 2 weeks now and i'm tired of talking to myself. i hadn't thought about talking to the animals. inside the house alone i have 5 possibilities. used to have a lot more, but for some reason we haven't had a good year with pets. oh well. the outdoor cats have made up for it - we are to at least 14 outside - cats that is. 2 dogs, the pig died, gave his life up for a 4th of july banquet (don't tell kali - she doesn't know that part), 2 goats, 3 horses, and 3 mini-donkeys. i could talk myself silly - oh wait! maybe i already am :) <3 have a great week!
