karyn, i just read a story called Edge of Evil, by J.A. Jance. it's a fiction story - a murder mystery - and one of the characters had been diagnosed with ALS. interesting read for me - i kept thinking about the things i'd read on your blog about ALS. anyway, i thought i'd tell you about it :). a good book.
